They still look OK, but you don't feel so much like silver Merc drivers might kill you. Or if its a Grosser, send an army after you. Black Mercs just look more evil in a way that black anything else doesn't.

It's a racing tradition thing that only really matters to people like me, so I come with the warning that everyone is free to ignore me.

But black and silver are unbeatable on any German cars.

New York. But the M has the manual. And snow tires exist. Such a hard decision(that I don't have to make because I have no money!)

I've never lived in a cold climate. So I dunno what it's like to drive a RWD car with snow tires.

Is it pretty ok as long as you don't step on it too much?

I drove a Boxster in some really bad rain/thunderstorms on performance tires, but never actual snow. Let's say everything but snow. That car never skipped a beat. As long as you were careful, the most you'll get is a little wheel spin on turns. My BMW with xDrive is really fun in snow.
